Synopsis:
“La Traversée” plunges into the demanding world of haute cuisine by following starred chef Yannick Alléno and his team at Pavillon Ledoyen in Paris. Over three years, the documentary explores the challenges, consecrations and trials in this culinary theater. Beyond the quest for the stars, the story takes a poignant personal turn with the tragic accident of Alléno's son, Antoine. The film questions the fragility of destiny and the quest for meaning, offering a unique perspective on the professional and personal life of the starred chef.
